At Vasa-Raptors, our off-season training program is carefully structured into three key periods: Spring, Summer, and Fall. During the Spring phase, we prioritize recovery and rejuvenation for our athletes following their demanding competitive season.
As we transition into Summer, our primary goal is to elevate the athletes' lactate threshold and establish a solid foundation of overall fitness. This phase is all about boosting their endurance and strength.
Now, when it comes to Fall training, we take a unique approach. We actively encourage our athletes to continue participating in their chosen fall sports. Instead of replacing their involvement in these sports, we aim to complement it. Concurrently, we offer specialized ski training through the Vasa-Raptors. This dual-sport approach ensures that our athletes experience well-rounded athletic development while enhancing their skiing skills.
